How to Check Your Home-Visit Doctor’s DMC Registration
Before agreeing to a DocNCR visit, review the assigned doctor’s profile and Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration certificate. Match the name and registration details, and ask for clarification if anything is missing or inconsistent. DocNCR shares these details before booking and dispatches only after the patient agrees.

Ask about the doctor assigned to this visit
A business website may describe a network of doctors, but the important information for a booking is who is expected to attend. DocNCR works with locum doctors and some regular doctors; availability on the requested date determines the assignment.
Ask the calling team for the assigned doctor’s full name, profile and DMC certificate. A rotating team means a previously available doctor may not be available for another visit. Confirm a preference before booking rather than assuming the same clinician will return.
Compare the profile and certificate
- Check that the doctor’s name matches across the profile and certificate.
- Find the registration number and read the registration details shown.
- Look at any validity information on the certificate.
- Ask the team to clarify a name variation, unclear image or missing detail before you agree.
A certificate is a registration document. It should not be treated as proof that every specialist service or procedure is available with that particular booking.
Use the official DMC search
The Delhi Medical Council’s State Medical Register search offers searches by name or registration details. Follow the fields shown on the official page and compare the result with the details supplied for your doctor.
If information does not match or a search does not return a clear result, seek clarification from the calling team and the Council. The Council itself advises checking discrepancies with its office. A failed search by itself is not enough to conclude that a doctor is unregistered.

Keep agreement and dispatch separate
For DocNCR, reviewing the doctor’s details is part of the process before booking. The team is sent only after the patient agrees. Use this opportunity to ask about the doctor, address coverage, estimated arrival and consultation fee.
If you are told that the assigned doctor has changed, ask for the new doctor’s profile and certificate and clarify the booking before the visit proceeds. On arrival, ask the visiting doctor to confirm their name if you are unsure who has attended.
A short message you can send
Before I confirm, please share the doctor’s full name, profile and DMC registration certificate for this visit. Please also confirm the consultation fee, rate list, estimated arrival time and cancellation terms.
Keep these details in your booking conversation. Avoid posting a doctor’s personal documents publicly; use the official register or contact the Council when you need to resolve a registration question.
